The purpose of this RFP document is to provide Bidders with information to assist in the formulation of their proposals. Each Bidder should conduct its own investigations and analysis, and should check the accuracy, reliability and completeness of the information in this RFP document, and where necessary obtain independent advice. 4. OBJECTIVE OF THE RFP
4.1. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to enter into a contractual agreement with one or more successful bidder(s) and select one or more suitable contractor(s) for Automatic Water Sprinkler system.
4.2. Bidders are requested to propose the best state of the art high-end, most cost-effective solution, to meet SCI-BONO requirements, while ensuring a high quality of Automatic Water Sprinkler system.

A prospective bidder requiring any clarification on technical, contractual or commercial matters may notify SCI-BONO via email at the following address:

9 CLOSING DATE AND TIME FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS
9.1 Submissions should be hand delivered on or before Tuesday, 20th June 2023 at 12:00PM, deposited into the tender box marked “RFP: CFO/SCM/FAC/R23-24/08 – SUPPLY, INSTALLATION OF AUTOMATIC WATER SPRINKLER STSTEM”. NO LATE PROPOSALS / BIDS shall be accepted. Late proposals / bids shall be immediately returned to the bidders. All documents must be to Corner of Miriam Makeba & President Street, Johannesburg, 2107.
9.2 All correspondences shall be done by e-mail tenders@sci-bono.co.za; no telephonic correspondences shall be done before and after the closing of bid. Bidders may be informed in writing of the outcome of the bid adjudication process.
9.3 Sci-Bono may, at its own discretion, extend this closing date for the submission of proposals by notifying all bidders thereof in writing.
9.4 Any proposal received by Sci-Bono after the closing date for submission of proposals will be rejected.
9.5 Outcome of the RFP shall be communicated on Sci-bono website once internal processes are finalized.
