The Cercs City Council is the owner of the facilities of the CEIP Sant Salvador and the Escola Bressol Els Barrufets, located at Camí de Sant Jordi, 81, in the center of Sant Jordi de Cercs. The schools were built in 1979 and adapted to the topography of the land, which presents a significant unevenness. This configuration causes the accesses to the buildings, the journeys between the different educative countries and the countries present several architectural barriers that hinder mobility and impede the fulfillment of the current accessibility requirements. The actions consist of improving the accessibility of the buildings of the CEIP Sant Salvador and of the Escola Bressol Els Barrufets mitjançant the construction of our accessible routes, ramps, stairs, renovation of pavements, adaptation of the accesses, improvements to the exterior spaces and the main patio, as well as the installation d'elements de protection i senyalització, adapting the whole of the enclosure to the Codi d'Accessibilitat de Catalunya. The main actions planned for the project are:  Construction of a new main access to the school campus.  Execution of accessible ramps.  Reform and reconstruction of existing stairs.  Renovation of the exterior pavements.  Millora of the accesses to the children's, primary and school buildings.  Million of accessible itineraries between buildings, patios, multi-sports court and soccer field.  Installation of new railings, handrails and protection elements.  Millora dels spais enjardinats y de joc.  General adaptation of the tours to Decree 209/2023, which is approved by the Accessibility Code of Catalonia.
