IFC seeks to hire a legal consultancy firm to support IFC with all the legal and regulatory aspects related to the sell-side due diligence and transaction implementation including (i) legal due diligence of the company; regulatory due diligence of the sector; (ii) review of applicable procurement and investment laws and recommendation on legal structuring options; (iii) preparation of tender documents; (iv) preparation of the project agreement(s) and other transaction documents; and (v) assistance with conducting a transparent tender process up until commercial close with the selected strategic investor. The firm will be expected to bring a legal firm that has experience in matters of Sri Lankan Law as a partner for this assignment. The WBG reserves the right to publicly disclose contract award information, including but not limited to, name of company receiving the award, brief description of services, and contract award amount, for any contract award valued over US$250,000.
