Vaccines recommended for bulk purchase by the WHO for UN agencies will be considered as an added advantage (WHO pre qualified). ii. The following documents should be submitted preshipment for each lot of vaccine despatched. (a).Invoice (b).Certificate of origin (c).Certificate of analysis.(d).Lot release certificate from National control Laboratory(NCL) from country of origin.(e).Summary lot protocols of production procedure & quality control testing. These documents should be submitted pre-shipment to the National Control Laboratory for Vaccines (MRI) Sri Lanka. iii.Each consignment should have a minimum of 2/3 of shelf life at the time of delivery at MSD. iv.The vaccine should also comply with the general requirements for vaccine in the B.P.,U.S.P or other pharmacopeial standars approved by NMRA, Sri Lanaka. v.The vaccine should meet the most recent requirements of W.H.O. when tested by the methods outlined by WHO. vi.Cold chain Monitors should be included in each pack and the Cold Chain should be maintained according to the manufacturer's instructions during storage, transport and delivery of vaccine. vii.The vaccine should be stored at temperature between +2'C and + 8'C. viii.Each vial should be provided with a suitable sterile diluent. ix.Each vial should be labled accordingly indicating batch No., date of manufacture and expiry. x. Director/MSD should be informed two weeks prior to the arrival of vaccine.
