The Umeå Municipality in Sweden from Europe region has released this tender for Part 1: The assignment concerns bus transport with a maximum of 22 passengers and a maximum of 55 passengers for buses over 22 passengers. For primary school students, the primary demand is for round-trip bathing shuttles from school to the bathing house (Navet). Bath shuttles are scheduled, new schedules are sent out before the start of each term. Trips caused by school activities, e.g. trips to education in other schools within Umeå municipality, excursions, school trips and during evacuations when schools are being rebuilt. For bathing shuttles, drop-off must be 10 minutes before bathing time, pick-up must be 20 minutes after bathing time unless otherwise agreed between the parties. Schedule attached Part 1.1: The assignment consists of trips ordered by activities within the municipality and other participants in the procurement, such as at conferences, information days or similar, and these can be trips over the day or trips with overnight stays. Buses to be used in the assignment must be adapted for the execution of the assignment and not be larger vehicles than the journey requires. Part 2: The assignment concerns bus transport with 1 bus for a maximum of 55 passengers. Normally, one bus is used, but in exceptional cases, several buses may be required simultaneously. The Cultural School books trips for both municipal and independent schools and preschools for transport to/from cultural events. Cultural events mean theater and dance performances, museum visits, library activities, concerts, etc. The Cultural Bus does not transport to sports events, outdoor days, swimming pools or other school activities. The Cultural Bus transports preschool groups and classes only within Umeå municipality and parts of the municipality, only during school hours 08.30-15.30. The Cultural Bus is booked at least 10 days before the trip is to be carried out. Planning is done by the Cultural School per term. with tender notice no. 676022-2026 published on 07 Oct 2026.
