Information about planned landlord procurement for police station and seizure premises in Karlskrona

The Police Authority in Sweden from Europe region had released this tender for The Police Authority plans to procure a landlord for the renovation, extension or new construction of a police station and seizure premises in Karlskrona. BACKGROUND The procurement concerns the procurement of design, implementation and lease agreements that will meet the Police Authority's needs for a landlord and developer for the renovation, extension or new construction of a police station and seizure premises in Karlskrona. The assignment in this project consists of, for the Police Authority: • Act as landlord and long-term management of the police station and seizure premises in Karlskrona. • Carry out procurement of/contract designers. • In collaboration with the Police Authority, design the renovation, extension or new construction. • Carry out procurement of/contract construction contractors. • Be the developer during the construction period and be responsible for all permits including detailed planning issues, building permit documents and take care of the building permit process. All of the above shall be done in consultation and close cooperation with the Police Authority. NEW POLICE HOUSE AND ATTACHMENT FACILITY IN KARLSKRONA The buildings are estimated to cover a total of approximately 23,000 sq m of gross floor area, divided into approximately 17,000 sq m of gross floor area for the police house and approximately 6,000 sq m of gross floor area for the ATTACHMENT FACILITY. The police house will include offices, meeting rooms, storage, parking garage, exercise and changing rooms. Bidders must be able to offer a property that meets the following requirements: • Enables the conversion, extension or new construction of a police house of approximately 17,000 sq m of gross floor area and an ATTACHMENT FACILITY with approximately 6,000 sq m of gross floor area. • The total plot area must be at least 40,000 sq m. • The plot must be located in the Lyckeby area in the northeastern part of Karlskrona with quick access to major traffic routes to facilitate good communication and in the event of an emergency. The Police Authority will require in the procurement that a security protection agreement in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585) be signed between the parties.
