The crown drop network

The THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF JÖNKÖPING COUNTY in Sweden from Europe region has released this tender for The County Administrative Board of Jönköping County intends to carry out a negotiated procedure without prior advertising in accordance with Chapter 6, Section 14, Paragraph 2 of the Public Procurement Act. The intention is to enter into an agreement with the supplier IVL Miljöinstitutet AB, corporate registration number 556116-2446, regarding environmental monitoring efforts within the Krondroppsnätet. The Krondroppsnätet aims to operate a nationally coordinated, county-wide environmental monitoring of forest ecosystems throughout Sweden. The monitoring is focused on air concentrations, deposition of acidifying and eutrophicating substances and its impact on groundwater quality. As there are many different types of measurements carried out within the Krondroppsnätet, it is a prerequisite that the contractor has methods, equipment, analysis capabilities and experience of all of them. The measurements, and the development of these, have been conducted under the auspices of IVL since the 1980s. IVL has developed methods, models and equipment that are specifically adapted for the assignment. The long-term and continuous measurement series that have been generated, where the same methods have been used, also enable studies of long-term trends, which is an important purpose of the crown drop network. It is therefore of great importance that these long-term measurement series are maintained. The County Administrative Boards assessment is, based on the above, that for technical reasons there is no competition regarding this assignment and there would have been no reasonable alternative to signing an agreement with the above supplier. The contract freeze applies for 10 days from the date of publication.
