Objectives, Purpose & Expected results UNICEF Thailand plans to organize a two-day media training for its staff who often give media interviews – most of whom never had media training before. This training is to train spokespeople for local and international media, including training on the basic guidelines and frameworks for media messaging covering print, digital and TV, practice interview sessions including on-camera interviews as well as individual coaching. Approximately 20 senior staff and officers are expected to be trained. UNICEF staff are often called upon to give interviews to the local and international media on children’s issues. The training will increase the effectiveness with which they engage with the media in print, digital and TV. Location and Duration: The actual media training is expected to happen around early July over the course of 2 days at UNICEF Thailand Office in Bangkok, Thailand. Contract period: 1 June – 30 September 2023 The training should be held for 7-8 hours, excluding two coffee breaks of 15 minutes each and one lunch break of one hour.
