To Achieve This; The Assignment will Conduct Studies to Explore Investment Opportunities in Green Fuel and Devise Strategies to Incorporate Low-/Zero-Carbon Fuels into Ships and Port Infrastructure; Promoting Sustainability in the Maritime Industry. The Activities of this Assignment Focus on Two Main Areas:*Fuels: A Scoping and Baseline Study will be Conducted to Identify Investment Opportunities and Assess the Potential for Low-/Zero-Carbon Energy Production in TüRkiye; Specifically in the Production of Bunker Fuels.* Ports: The Assignment Also Includes an Assessment of How Low-/Zero-Carbon Fuels can be Integrated into Shipping Fleets and Port Infrastructure in TüRkiye. Additionally; The Resilience of Existing Port Infrastructure and its Logistical Connections with Road and Rail will be evaluated.ultimately; The Objective is to Strengthen TüRkiye's Capacity to Decarbonize the Shipping Industry; Promote Green and Sustainable Ports; And Facilitate Stakeholder Engagement to Explore Various Low-/Zero-Carbon Fuel Opportunities in the Country's Maritime Transport Sector. The Wbg Reserves the Right to Publicly Disclose Contract Award Information, including but not Limited to, Name of Company Receiving the Award, Brief Description of Services, and Contract Award Amount, for Any Contract Award Valued over Us$250,000.
