The entity must be a for-profit commercial interest with a license that meets all the requirements, Tax Compliance and legal organizations working in Uganda as a private business, business associations, cooperatives/ producer organizations input companies, private firms. 2. Inclusion of women (min 60%) and youth (40%) in the horticulture value chain, as employees, agents and customers. Willing to co-invest in horticulture value chain improvements and offer competitive forward purchasing contracts to farmers. 3. Actively serve farmers in at least one of the following districts of Northern Uganda (Gulu, Kitgum, Amuru, Nwoya, Pader, Oyam, Lira and Kole) Suppliers/service providers i. Possession of adequate resources to effectively execute the contract; ii. Experience in the handling of Infrastructural services for multiple organizations at the same time; iii. Possession of sound financial standing; iv. Has experienced staff with expertise in installation and performing the required task; v. Legally registered and compliant with the Ugandan law, including Tax compliance vi. Have a defined plan on how they intend to scale their product and service delivery in the project areas, including farmers or vendors, demonstrating their technologies, etc. Consultants; 1. Legally registered and compliant with the Ugandan law, including Tax compliance 2.
