The UGANDA NATIONAL ROADS AUTHORITY in Uganda from African region had released this tender for Expression of Interest are invited for Feasibility Study and Detailed Engineering Design for Soroti(Arapai)-Amuria-Acan
The Services consist of Feasibility study and Detailed Engineering design for the Upgrading
of Soroti (Arapai) – Amuria – Achan Pii Road. The Consulting services (“the Services”)
shall include but not limited to the following:
i. Carry out a feasibility study of upgrading the selected route, including consideration
of alternative routes and pavement options, road safety considerations, preliminary
design, implementation plan/ schedule, economic and financial analysis;
ii. Prepare a detailed engineering design for the selected route option including all data
collection, field surveys and analyses to cover all aspects of detailed design. The
design shall be complete covering aspects such as roadway, Road Signage, and
other related furniture.
iii. Prepare bidding documents for implementation of the works, based on the approved
detailed designs for the road upgrading works. These documents should be suitable
for international competitive bidding and if necessary, in compliance with
procedures of UNRA’s Development Partners regarding procurement of works.
iv. Prepare a full Environmental and Social Impact Statement (ESIS) and
Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP) in accordance with the
National Environmental Management Authority guidelines, Environment, Social

Expressions of Interest in English in one (1) original and two (2) copies must be delivered
to the address below on or before at 11:00 a.m. with the envelope or packaging clearly
marked “Expression of Interest for “Consultancy Services for the Feasibility Study and
Detailed Engineering Design for Soroti(Arapai)-Amuria-Acan Pii (88km).”
11. Expressions of interest will be opened in the presence of the applicants’ representative

Expression of Interest are invited for Feasibility Study and Detailed Engineering Design for Soroti(Arapai)-Amuria-Acan
The Services consist of Feasibility study and Detailed Engineering design for the Upgrading
of Soroti (Arapai) – Amuria – Achan Pii Road. The Consulting services (“the Services”)
