Request for proposals are invited for Surge Pharmacist/Medical Logistics Consultant. Fhi 360’S Ukraine Response is Scaling up Operations Rapidly in the Health Sector. With the Scale up, Surge Support in Pharmacy/Medical Logistics is Needed to Support the Quality Management of Medications and Consumables Incoming to the Project. This Position, Working under the Health Coordinator, would Support the Management of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Consumables, Ensuring that Quality Processes are Implemented following Organizational Guidelines and Policies. Furthermore, this Position would Support on Problem Solving and Training of the National Team. Specific Tasks and Responsibilities: - Follow Standard Protocols for Essential Pharmacy Processes, including Good Storage and Good Distribution Practices. - Manage Warehousing Facilities including the Smaller Storerooms in each Operational Area. Participate in the Setup of Any New Pharmacies/Storerooms as Needed for the Project. - Liaise with Larger Warehousing Partners (Atlas Logisitique and Farmastar) to Ensure Proper Storage and Transport of Medications and Supplies to Field Sites. - Establish and Maintain Inventory Trackers including Consumption and Warehouse Tracking as Well as Required Documentation (Waybills, Stock Cards, Facility Registers, Consumption Tracking Sheets). - Facilitate the Procurement of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Commodities in Compliance with Usaid/Bha and Ministry of Health Standards at a Cost-Effective Price Bv Contributing to Supply and Pharmaceutical Requests, Participating in Procurement Committees and Technical Assistance to the Crisis Response Logistics Specialist. - Ensure All Activities are Properly Documented and Fully Adhere to Compliance as Per Donor Requirements. - Collaborate with Hq Support Departments to Identify Bottlenecks and Provide Solutions. - Manage Pharmacist Technical Staff, including Pharmacy Storekeepers (Fhi Staff and Incentivized Volunteers from Moh). - Work with National Staff to Build Capacity in Technical Areas as Needed. - Contribute to Budgeting for Pharmaceutical and Consumable Needs. - Supervise the Pharmacy Storekeepers and Assist Any Staff Involved in Medication Dispensing, Ensuring Adequate Staffing for Quality Pharmaceutical and Consumable Storage and Distribution. - Ensure Proper Sops are in Place and being Followed. - Ensure There are Quality Control Systems and Fhi 360 Programming is Compliant with Donor and Moh Guidelines, as Well as National Laws. - Conduct Field Visits to Supervise and Monitor each Mobile Team and Sub-National Pharmacy Store. - Carry out Inspections / Audits of Pharmaceutical Storage in Farmasoft and Moh Mobile Teams. Conduct Verification for All New Procurements of Medical Commodities and Pharmaceuticals upon Receipt at the Warehouse. - Contribute to Monthly, Semiannual and Annual Reporting in Conjunction with the M&E Team for Project Indicators Related to Pharmaceuticals and Medical Commodities. - Ensure Pharmaceutical-Related Tracking Data (Stock, Consumption etc) is Collected and Reported Monthly. - Any Other Tasks as Requested by the Health Coordinator.
