THERE ARE 46 GAS TURBINES (GT) AND ASSOCIATED AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT AT GENERATION DIVISION INCLUDING BALANCE OF PLANTS EQUIPMENT AT H STATI ON MANAGED BY MMD. GENERATION DIVISION OF DEWA OPERATES AND PROVIDES MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND OVERHAUL SERVICES FOR POWER GENERATION AND WATER PRODUCTION PLANTS IN DEWA. SAFETY, AVAILABILITY, RELIABILITY, AND COST HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE MOST IMPORTANT PRIORITIES IN DEWA. THE GTS ARE INSTALLED, COMMISSIONED, OPERATED AND MAINTAINED AS PER ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER (OEM) GUIDELINES. THE WOR KS NEEDS TO BE PERFORMED IN CO2 FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM OF GE FRAME-9E GAS TURBINES (GTS) OF E STATION AND 2 AERO DERIVATIVE GTS IN D 9 &10 STATION. THE BIDS ARE INVITED ONLY FROM DUBAI CIVIL DEFENSE APPROVED FIREFIGHTING SYSTEM CONTRACTORS WITH VALID LICENSE TO DES IGN, SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF FIREFIGHTING SYSTEM FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS. THE BIDDER SHALL HAVE AT LEAST 5 YEARS# EXPERIENCE IN DESIGN, SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF THE CO2 FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM FOR GAS TURBINE APPLICATIONS. THE SCOPE OF WORKS UNDER THIS IS TO STUDY AND UPGRADE THE OBSOLETE PARTS WHEREVER NECESSARY WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF CO2 FIR E PROTECTION SYSTEM.
