Contract for purchase of switchgear BCN Purchasing will no longer accept hard copy bid documents in response to any solicitation including but not limited to ITB RFP RFQ or CMAR solicitations All documents must be submitted electronically via this website NSHE recently migrated to a new payment system that requires all of our vendors register with the system in order for our Controllers office to allow us to pay you Please visit the following link for the NSHE Supplier Registration system to sign up for a new account https suppliers nevada edu Membership Secure CreateUser aspx This process only needs to be completed once If you believe you already have an account set up please confirm by searching for your company at this link https suppliers nevada edu FindSupplier aspx If your company is listed and shows the Supplier Status as anything other than Accepted then there are still steps that must be completed before your registration is approved Once an ITB RFP RFQ CMAR is released for bidding bidders may begin working on their response and uploading required documents without submitting their bid early The NGEM system allows for bidders to save their work Please make use of this capability in order to give your company enough time to review your response and upload any other documents on the day the ITB RFP RFQ CMAR closes so that you do not miss the cut-off time Once the ITB RFP RFQ CMAR closes and the responses are unsealed electronically the list of bidders responders will be immediately posted online and available to the public for viewing This document can be accessed by clicking on Closed Bid Opportunities selecting the specific opportunity and scrolling down to Bid Documents The Bid Tabulation document will be available for review there Description of Work This is a prevailing wage project To replace the roofing on the Northern Nevada Science Center NNSC Building that has reached the end of life The replacement roof specified is an FM approved PVC single-ply membrane mechanically attached utilizing the RhinoBond inductively welded system over High Density Roof Cover Boards The new roofing system shall create a watertight bond that is also highly resistant to wind uplift This is intended to ensure long-term asset protection enhance building safety and minimize operational disruptions for the NNSC Building tenants Special Considerations Closed specifications for roofing material PVC Thermoplastic Roofing Membrane inductively welded utilizing the RhinoBond system The contractor shall submit documentation showing they are RhinoBond approved installers by the PVC membrane manufacturer All deliveries to be dropped off at the receiving lot area on the North side of the campus Workers may park in either uncovered overflow parking in the South parking lot or on the West side of the NNSC building if they are not blocking any access routes A crane material hoist or forklift may be used if needed and can access the roof either from the North end of the NNSC building or within the receiving lot area given the equipment or staged material does not block access to the surrounding doors vehicles or equipment New roofing materials may be stored within the gated receiving lot area and cannot block fire lanes or building exits A large dumpster may be staged in the receiving area must be in a location accessible for a large haul-away truck to pick up and must be covered when not in use DRI Project 9045 Labor Commissioner WA-2025-479 SPWD Project 25-B065 Estimated Cost Range 350 000 to 450 000 Liquidated Damages 500 day Required Insurance if Awarded Commercial General Liability Business Automobile Liability Workers Compensation Pollution Liability Builder s Risk and Rigger s liability will be required Please refer to the TEMPLATE-Owner-Contractor Construction Agreement on the Attachments tab for limits and additional information and in compliance with the requirements set forth here https www unr edu bcn-nshe risk contracts Completion of Work Subject to change by Owner Work is scheduled to begin on November 10 2025 and shall be fully complete by December 12 2025
