Consulting SupportIFC is seeking to hire a specialist firm (healthcare planners/architects/hospital technical specialists) (the “Consultant”); to assist with the development of a suite of documentation that can be used in a standardised way across some or all of these countries. IFC would like to explore how much can be standardised; whilst allowing for a degree of local customisation where needed.The Consultant shall review a set of hospital design and construction standards and to propose how international hospital design standards can be adapted to EM countries; without resulting in an overly expensive solution. Simply imposing UK; US or other such standards without adjustment; may not be appropriate.This work is done in relation to the preparation of hospital PPPs: the intention is therefore to develop output specifications where the public authority determines functionalities and expectations but does not prescribe a detailed design.
