Contractor(s) will participate in critical incident stress debriefings. Contractor(s) will communicate with the Vermont Department of Corrections to be kept apprised of critical incidents to which the DOC members were exposed. Individual Client Visitation – Contractor(s) will provide private one-on-one counseling services to DOC members. Training and Education – Contractor(s) will provide basic education and training as needed. Contractor(s) agrees to monthly supervisory consultation provided by lead clinician. Decompression Visits and Training for Correctional Officers- Contractor(s) will participate in decompression visits yearly. Additional Training - The Contractor(s) will also be responsible for either attending or maintaining professional development courses at no additional cost to the Vermont Department of Corrections. Licensing and Certification Requirements – The Contractor(s) will maintain a valid license within the State of Vermont in the field of counseling, psychology and/or social work. Certification in Critical Incident Stress Management will be maintained while this contract is in effect. Performance Measures - Reporting Requirements The Contractor(s) agrees to the following reporting requirements a. Monthly reports detailing the number of current DOC members being seen b. Monthly reports on services provided to DOC Team (debriefings, defusing). Preferred Qualifications: 1) Licensure 2) CISM Certification 3) Certified Trauma Specialist 4) History of Working with First Responders/Law Enforcement 5) EMDR Certification.
