Pccp pipeline rehabilitation aqueduct a and b las vegas lateral ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS VIRGIN VALLEY WATER DISTRICT Sun City Booster Station Labor Commission Project Identifying Number PWP-CL-2025-333 Notice is hereby given that the Virgin Valley Water District the District is seeking sealed bids for certain construction or work to be performed referred to as Sun City Booster Station the Project The Project is to be performed within the City of Mesquite Clark County Nevada The following is a summary description of the Project The Project consists of site grading and construction of a new CMU booster station building installation of necessary equipment inside the booster station and the installation of approximately 1 500 feet of 16-inch Ductile Iron Pipe running east along Hardy Way to the intersection of Hardy Way and Falcon Ridge Pkwy in Mesquite Nevada Work also includes pipe connections asphalt removal and repair curb and gutter replacement earthwork and other items incidental to water main line construction The Project is more fully described in the plans drawings specifications and other Project documents available from the NGEM Nevada Gov eMarketplace website A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday July 29th 2025 at 2 00 PM PDT at the District office located at 500 Riverside Road Mesquite Nevada The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the Project to answer questions or concerns from Bidders and to address any key issues related to the Project Bids will be received only online at the NGEM website until 2 00 PM PDT on Tuesday August 12th 2025 and the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time at the District office Any Bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered Bids must be submitted on the documents provided and must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the Bid Pursuant NRS 338 147 or NRS 338 1389 as applicable a Bidder seeking to qualify to receive a preference in bidding must submit a Nevada State Contractor s Board Certificate of Eligibility evidencing the preferential status Said certificate must be attached to and submitted with the Bid The District reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to waive any informalities or minor defects in a Bid in the District s sole discretion to the extent allowed by law Any award will be on the basis of the lowest responsible Bidder unit price conformance to plans and specifications Bidder s qualifications full and accurate completion of the Bid documents the extent to which the District judges the Bid to be in the best interests of the public 338 143 5 c and other appropriate factors as may be permitted by Nevada law If the estimated cost of project exceeds 250 000 then the award will be to the Bidder who submits the best bid see NRS 338 147
