The editor will work on an as-needed basis in a freelance capacity. III. Deliverables Support the creation of SCP2 case studies, technical briefs and other communication material, through: 1. Development of content for case studies, technical briefs, and other communication material and related activities 2. Editing documents to ensure compliance with CRS H&C SCP2 and MARCOM style, design, layout, specification, and grammar and spelling requirements. 3. Collaborating with key stakeholders ( country program, regional and HQ staff, including technical advisors) to gain better understanding of subject matter. 4. Collecting and integrating feedback on documents. 5. Conducting quality review of materials and provide peer review of platform documents. 6. Managing multiple tasks simultaneously. IV. Qualifications: 1. 5 – 7 years work experience in editing technical publications for the shelter/emergency response sectors 2. Background in international development/humanitarian assistance/emergency response preferable 3. Solid understanding of the shelter and settlement sector; solid understanding of other humanitarian sectors (WASH, food security/markets, Disaster Risk Reduction, etc.) a plus 4. Proven written and oral communication skills Required Languages – Fluency in English (written and oral). V.
