Expression of Interest are invited for Videography Services for EDGE in Vietnam - Filming. Issue Date and Time: Jul 12,2023 06:10 Closing Date and Time: Jul 20,2023 23:59 1. Project Background & Objectivesifc has Created Edge to Align the Interests of Developers; Financial Institutions; Governments; And Homeowners with the Ambition of Mainstreaming Green Buildings in Emerging Markets. With the Support of Global and Local Certifiers; Edge Aims to Penetrate 20 Percent of New Build in More than a Dozen Target Markets within the Next Several Years. Supported by Free Software; Edge Demonstrates How Buildings can be More Profitable While Easing Their Impact on the Environment. To Reach the Edge Standard and Qualify for Certification; A Building must Achieve a 20 Percent Reduction in Energy; Water and Embodied Energy in Materials Compared to a Base Case. Edge is a Fast; Easy; And Affordable Way to Build and Brand Green; With More Information Available at Https://edgebuildings.com/ . The Objective of the Contract is to Engage a Firm to Create Video that Influences Others to Adopt Edge as Part of Their Standard Business Practices; Through the following Means: - Position Early Adopters (Both Banks and Developers) as Market Leaders through the Edge Website; Edge and Ifc Social Media Channels; And Ifc’S Intranet; Using Both Paid and Organic Methods Whenever Possible.- Disseminate through the Marketing Channels of Participating Banks and Developers to Reach Their Customers and Clients.- Share at Global and Local Conferences and Events; And at Edge Experts CaféS and Trainings.- Deploy during Pitches as a Tactic to Win Potential Clients; Instilling a Sense of Peer-to-Peer Competition.- Gain Placement on Media in Conjunction with Articles.- Showcase through Email Campaigns. 2. Roles and Responsibilitiesthe Videography Firm will Provide Filming Services Throughout Shooting in each Country. The Firm must Provide All Technical Equipment Needed for Shoot; Including Cameras; Sound Equipment; Lighting (if Needed); Etc. The Edge Team will Support with Securing and Lining up All Client Engagements and Obtaining Any Necessary Permissions; Accompanying the Crew to Ensure the Capture of Accurate Messaging and Visuals. The Edge Team is Also Responsible for Providing Feedback and Approvals in a Timely Manner Throughout the Video Production Process. 3. Tasks and timeline3.1 Edge Country Overview Videoshoot the following for Vietnam:* Multiple Interviews with Clients; Aerial Drone Videography of Projects (Both under Construction and Built); Local Culture and Environment Footage (B-Roll). The Video will be Featured on the Edge Website and All Social Media Platforms. It may Also be Utilized at Conferences and Events and Internally within World Bank/Ifc. For the Videos to be Successful; It is Essential to do the Following: * Capture the Viewer’S Attention within One to Two Seconds.* Create a Sense of Dramatic Scale and a “Wow Factor” to Show the Vast Potential for Edge.* Focus on the Human; Real-Life Impact of Green Buildings and How They Affect the Local Environment/Families/People.* Ground the Videos in the Local Cultural Context While Never Losing Sight of the Overarching Global Brand. The Master Cut of the Videos must be Shot in 4k with a Full Hd (1920 X 1080) Version Provided for Digital Purposes (Youtube; Vimeo; And the Edge Website). Raw Material from the Original Project to Also be Provided in Drp (Davinci Resolve 16) and an Xml File for Ifc for Editing. Ifc will Own All Creative Concepts; Use and Distribution Rights. 4. Locationthe Assignment will be in Vietnam. 5. Timelinethis Assignment will be Filming in August 2023 (2-4 Weeks Filming Schedule). 6. Requirements* at Least 7 Years of Experience in Video Production from Initial Concept to Finished Product.* Proven Success in Creating High-Quality Videos that Resonate with Target Audiences.* Full Access to the Latest Equipment and Technologies; Including an Aerial Drone Camera.* Cultural Sensitivity and Experience Working across Asia with High-End Clients; People of Diverse Income Levels; And Unpredictable Environments. 7. Follow-on Workthe Potential Exists for Additional Work outside of the Scope of Current Activities in Future Fiscal Years; Depending on Requirements for the Rapidly Expanding Edge Program. 8. Confidentiality Statement All Data and Information Received from Ifc for the Purpose of this Assignment are to be Treated Confidentially and are only to be Used in Connection with the Execution of These Terms of Reference. All Intellectual Property Rights Arising from the Execution of These Terms of Reference are Assigned to Ifc. The Contents of Written Materials Obtained and Used in this Assignment may not be Disclosed to Any Third Parties without the Expressed Advance Written Authorization of the Ifc.
