Existing livelihood strategies are enhanced and more sustainable through the successful introduction of locally adapted innovative products and processes, increasing community resilience and food security.
The project of Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH); fishery livelihoods support component, implemented by the partner Abs Development Organization for Women and Child (ADO) aims to:
· Restore the productive assets and strengthen the capacities of the small-scale fishery communities in the western coastal areas. As well as improving their socio-economic conditions and strengthening their livelihoods.
· Create additional employment and income-earning opportunities for vulnerable women and men in the targeted districts.
