UNICEF supported the water supply system in Al-Shahel by solarization of Wadi Wahan lift station which is the 2nd lift station while the 1st lift station and two boreholes still running by diesel engines. This project aims to operate the two boreholes and 1st lift station located in Wadi Hayban by solar system during a day so by implementing this intervention, the whole system will be operated by solar system for 6-8 hrs. per dayto benefit 14,000 people from IDP and host communities. The project includes all civil supplying and installation of solar panels, construction of all required civil works as per the attached BoQs, supply and installation of inventors and supply and installation of submersible pumps. The objective is to To identify and select experienced and technically qualified contractors who are interested to carry out the supply and installation of solar systems for Al-Shahel water supply systemHajjah governorate.
