The FOREST DEPARTMENT in Bangladesh from Asian region had released this tender for Expression of Interest are invited for Selection of Consulting Firm for Assessment of Aquatic Resources of the Sundarbans. Consulting Firm (National)  (Lump-Sump) Title Of Service: Selection of Consulting Firm for Assessment of Aquatic Resources of the Sundarbans. Brief Description of Assignment: The overall objective of this consultancy is to assess the aquatic resources of the Sundarbans specially the fish, crab and other important aquatic fauna to ensure the conservation and sustainable use of aquatic resources and ecosystem services, which will be considered/ incorporated in management strategies of aquatic resources of the Sundarbans. Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required: • Minimum 10(ten) years of proven work experience in the field of natural resource especially aquatic resources survey/research activities in the Sundarbans / coastal areas of Bangladesh. • The Firm should have valid Government registration with experienced office staffs. • The Firm should have experience to implement at least 3(three) research/study works related to the coastal aquatic resources/ fishery. • The Firm should have experience with dealing the professional consultants. Other Details (if applicable): • Interested firm must provide documents (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, capacity, logistics etc. in support of their experience and qualifications demonstrating that they are fully qualified to perform the services along with the EoI. • Registration of Firm, up to date Trade license, Income Tax certificate, VAT Certificate, Bank Solvency certificate, Audit Report of the last year, Annual Turnover of last 3 years, JV agreement/letter of intent (if applicable). • Interested Firms are requested to submit their EoI in 2(Two) sets, 1 (one) original & 1(one) duplicate in a sealed envelope and externally marked title of the Service must be on or before the specified date and time • Only Short Listed Firms will be allowed to submit RFP (Request For Proposal).
