Within this Framework; The Wb is Supporting Analytical Work to Support the Generation; Validation; And Sharing of Knowledge about Effective Approaches for Promoting the Emergence of Climate-Smart Agricultural Supply Chains; Particularly on Cattle; Oil Palm; Cocoa; And Non-Timber Forest Products. The Wb is Seeking a Firm or Consortium to Generate Knowledge about the Adoption Cycle of Climate Smart Technology and Good Practices. The Results will be Used by the Wb in its Policy Dialogue to Make More Informed and Appropriate Decisions Related to the Enabling Environment to Promote the Adoption of Climate Smart Cattle Ranching Technologies and Good Practices. The Specific Objectives of the Consultancy Are: (I) to Design Technical Assistance Delivery Methodology for Cattle Ranchers; (Ii) to Develop Content and Materials for Technical Assistance to Cattle Ranchers; (Iii) to Identify and Recruit Cattle Ranchers to Participate in the Study; (Iv) to Deliver Technical Assistance for the Cattle Ranchers in Treatment Groups; And (Iv) to Monitor and Evaluate the Implementation of Technical Assistance Delivery. The Specific Objectives will be Achieved through a 1.5-Years Field Research Allowing for Effective Experiential Learning; While Generating the Data Required to Evaluate the Environmental and Economic Impacts of the Targeted Practices and Technologies. This Consultancy is Drafted to be Developed in Two Phases. One Phase will be Focused on the Design of the Technical Assistance Delivery Methodology and the Second Phase will be Focused on Implementing the Technical Assistance Methodology on the Field.
