Samotné zastřešení bude tvořené trapézovým plechem s hydroizolačním a tepelně izolačním souvrstvím, nad zázemím je nosná vrstva tvořena prefabrikovanými betonovými panely a střecha je opatřena vegetačním souvrstvím a extenzivní zelení. Na střeše bude instalována technologie FVE (celkový výkon 22 kWp). Řešený objekt má zastavěnou plochu 3 946,5 m2 a obestavěný prostor 54 302 m3. Výška hřebene hlavní hmoty je + 12,410 m. Ledová plocha 26×60 m je tvořena chlazenou železobetonovou deskou, chlazení ledové plochy je přímé se čpavkem. Založení objektu je navrženo pomocí hlubinného zakládání - pilot. Součástí stavby bude mimo jiné vybudování parkoviště o kapacitě 63 parkovacích stání a promenády - plochy pro pěší mezi stávajícím zimním stadionem a nově budovanou malou halou. Před zahájením stavebních prací musí být provedena přeložka technologického kanálu pro chlazení ledové plochy sousedního zimního stadionu. Tato veřejná zakázka bude zadávána v samostatném zadávacím řízení.
