CTS services to Aalborg University retender

The Aalborg University in Denmark from Europe region has released this tender for AAU has a unified building management system BMS platform that covers the university s three campuses in Aalborg Esbjerg and Copenhagen The system consists exclusively of Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Building Operation EBO as the main station The BMS platform is established in AAU s own virtual server environment The platform consists of a total of approximately 200 automation servers AS 1029 Xenta centrals and approximately 20 Sigma centrals which cover a total building stock of approximately 235 000 m distributed over approximately 63 buildings Campus Aalborg and Campus Esbjerg use a common enterprise server while Campus Copenhagen has its own - but all main stations can be accessed across campuses via one unified login and user administration through AAU s Identity Management system The BMS systems control and monitor the university s ventilation heating cooling and lighting systems as well as fire alarms emergency functions and other critical technical systems This includes among other things supplies for data centers animal stables research equipment and installations with special operational and safety requirements The system also functions as a central tool for energy monitoring error prevention and optimization of operations and thus supports AAU s goal of sustainable efficient and standardized building operations across all campuses With this tender AAU wishes to enter into an agreement with a primary and secondary actor to perform the following services A CTS work consisting of service maintenance and updating of all AAU s CTS installations of the Schneider brand including both software and hardware Software upgrades and updates must be made to the latest EcoStruxure Building Operation version at all times and at least once a year and are defined by the overall process from planning notification and backup to installation function control control of integrations and final documentation B CTS contract tasks e g in connection with new construction conversion and renovation projects as well as other technical projects C C Support on AAU s CTS platform in the form of 24-hour technical remote support with the possibility of physical support on call urgent tasks The support must cover all AAU locations and Schneider Electric CTS systems including both platform software and hardware Services under the Agreement are generally performed by the primary supplier however performance of services by the secondary supplier may become relevant in the following situations If the primary supplier cannot perform a service due to temporary obstacles such as staff shortages or other reasons the order may instead go to the secondary supplier If AAU has set a deadline for completing a specific task and the primary supplier cannot offer to perform the service within the deadline set by AAU the service may instead be performed by the secondary supplier If the primary supplier materially breaches the Agreement AAU may terminate the Agreement with this supplier after which the secondary supplier becomes the primary supplier of all services under the agreement The situations described cover the fact that AAU wants a permanent partner in the form of a primary supplier who can not only perform service and maintenance of CTS installations but can also be used for larger tasks within works related to CTS works In addition AAU wants to have a permanent partner in the form of a secondary supplier who can ensure the operation of the CTS installations in the event that the primary supplier is unable to do so specifically in the cases listed in clause 3 1 of the agreement with tender notice no. 00590350-2026 published on 27 Aug 2026.
