EU tender for the delivery, installation and operation of charging points for own fleet in Sønderborg Municipality

The Sonderborg Municipality in Denmark from Europe region has released this tender for Sønderborg Municipality, hereinafter referred to as the “Client”, is in the process of continuously replacing the current fossil-fuelled passenger car fleet with electric cars. The Client therefore wishes to establish a number of charging points dedicated to these vehicles at various locations in the municipality. The actual purchase of electric cars is not part of this tender. This tender concerns the delivery, installation and commissioning of charging points for a part of Sønderborg Municipality’s municipal vehicles. In addition, the tender concerns all necessary electrical work between the connection point and the charging points, as well as planning, design and execution of all excavation and re-establishment work necessary to establish the infrastructure. Finally, the tender also concerns service and maintenance of the charging points and the delivery of a software solution for a 5-year period with the possibility of extension of two (2) times one (1) year. It is important for the Developer to enter into a collaboration with an Operator who understands that the charging points are critical infrastructure, as parts of the municipal fleet are home care vehicles, which are used in a socially important task. Sønderborg Municipality must own the purchased charging boxes and charging stands, etc. In addition, Sønderborg Municipality pays connection fees and the ongoing electricity consumption is settled directly with the electricity company.
