The Statens It in Denmark from Europe region has released this tender for In order to protect the State s IT Ordering Party against current and future cyber threats the Ordering Party uses a number of security technologies including an Extended Detection and Response XDR platform The XDR platform supports the collection correlation and analysis of security-related incidents across the Ordering Party s IT environment in order to protect systems services and data as well as ensure the confidentiality integrity and availability of the data In view of this the Ordering Party offers a contract whose purpose is to support and strengthen the Ordering Party s own operational IT security through the provision of a Managed Detection and Response MDR service from a Security Operations Center SOC The MDR service must use and supplement the Ordering Party s XDR platform with round-the-clock monitoring analysis detection validation escalation and handling of security incidents The service must be provided 24 hours a day 365 days a year and contribute to the rapid identification assessment and handling of cyber threats and security incidents The services constitute a significant element in the Ordering Party s continued maturation and development process in the area of cyber security with a focus on technology processes competences and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders With the tender the Ordering Party wants access to a professional MDR service that can meet the Ordering Party s high demands for quality robustness and efficiency as well as a supplier that can engage in ongoing dialogue with the Ordering Party about developments in cyber security including the threat picture technological options automation competence development and ongoing improvements to the security level The supplier must carry out a technical organizational and procedural Transition In which ensures that the ongoing MDR services can be delivered from the transition to the operational phase The Ordering Party draws attention to the fact that the Ordering Party has entered into a contract with two 2 suppliers to take care of the Ordering Party s existing XDR platform with which the supplier must cooperate in connection with Transition Ind As part of this the supplier must establish and configure the necessary integrations between the Ordering Party s XDR platform and other relevant security sources as well as the supplier s tools and platforms used to fulfill the contract The supplier must provide Ongoing MDR services including continuous monitoring analysis correlation validation and detection of alarms and security events The supplier must triage and qualify alarms in order to identify real security incidents and ensure timely escalation and notification in accordance with agreed processes and service levels These ongoing MDR benefits include Continuous SOC monitoring of security-related events and alarms Analysis correlation and qualification of incidents across relevant data sources Identification detection and validation of security incidents Development implementation and ongoing optimization of detection rules use cases and analysis models Use of relevant Threat Intelligence to support the detection and analysis work Ongoing assessment of the threat picture and its relevance to the Ordering Party s environment Proactive identification of potential security incidents and security risks including through Threat Hunting activities Escalation notification and reporting of security incidents according to agreed processes and service levels Maintenance of existing integrations as well as establishment of new integrations as needed Optimization and further development of the Orderer s XDR platform and other security solutions Advice regarding the development and maturation of the Ordering Party s security organisation security processes and governance Implementation of targeted Threat Hunting processes and analyzes of suspicious activities Incident Response assistance for security incidents after requisition from the Ordering Party including analysis delineation handling with tender notice no. 00568334-2026 published on 17 Aug 2026.
