Tender for a framework agreement regarding gas and gas cylinders

The Ministry of Defence's Equipment and Procurement Authority in Denmark from Europe region has released this tender for The Danish Ministry of Defences Materiel and Procurement Agency (FMI) is currently preparing an upcoming tender for a 4-year framework agreement with one or more suppliers regarding the purchase of technical, medical and special gases. The framework agreement must also include the delivery and rental of gas cylinders, batteries and cages. The gases are used, among other things, in welding, for medical use and for laboratories, and must be able to be delivered to the Defences locations in Denmark, excluding Greenland and the Faroe Islands. In connection with the procurement, FMI wishes to enter into a dialogue with the market to obtain information about the possibilities and any limitations in the market. In connection with the upcoming procurement, FMI has prepared a number of questions, which appear in this Request for Information (RFI). FMI wishes to obtain knowledge about the following areas: - Information about the company - Commercial and legal matters - Technical matters, etc. FMI encourages the market to respond to this RFI and enclose all relevant information, product presentations and/or catalogues that the supplier may find relevant in connection with this market dialogue. FMI seeks input from the market with this RFI on the preliminary requirements specification and contract structure, including the prices obtained as part of the tender. The RFI is therefore attached as Annex 1, the requirements specification, and Annex 2.1, the price appendix. After receiving responses from the market to this RFI, FMI may follow up on the response by contacting the suppliers or by holding meetings, if FMI assesses that there is a need for this. FMI emphasizes that it will not affect participation in future tenders of a similar nature if players do not wish to participate or only partially complete this RFI. A response to this RFI is also not binding on the company or an expression of an offer. The deadline for responding to the above is November 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. with tender notice no. 715936-2026 published on 16 Oct 2026. The tender is due to expire on 14 Jan 2027.
