The Frederiksberg Municipality in Denmark from Europe region has released this tender for This tender concerns 4 concession contracts partial agreements for the establishment and operation of charging stations for the Municipality of Frederiksberg The charging stations must be able to deliver an output power of 22 kW In the Municipality of Frederiksberg charging infrastructure has already been established ensuring broad geographical coverage However the need for additional charging infrastructure is continuously increasing as the share of electric cars increases and the charging infrastructure must be expanded in order to achieve the political objectives The majority of the existing charging infrastructure has been established with a five-year permit based on Section 80 of the Roads Act before the AFI Act As these expire they will be put out to competition in accordance with the AFI Act and this tender is among other things an expression of this Sub-contract 1 concerns new locations while sub-contracts 2-4 concern existing charging islands where certain charging islands are also being expanded in connection with this tender An overview of the locations is provided in Annex 1 of the contract The tenderer may choose to submit a tender for one several or all sub-contracts If tenders are submitted for several sub-contracts the tenderer must state the order of priority in the tender list Annex 3 of the contract A tenderer may be awarded a maximum of two of the tendered sub-contracts The operators with whom the municipality enters into a contract obtain the right and obligation to act as an operator of charging points and provider of charging services to end users The tendered concession contracts enter into force and have a duration as follows Sub-contract 1 enters into force on 1 January 2027 and runs until 31 December 2036 Sub-contracts 2-4 enters into force on 1 January 2028 and runs until 31 December 2037 The tender is being made in accordance with Directive 2014 23 EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 February 2014 on the award of concession contracts the Concessions Directive as implemented by BEK no 1080 of 29 06 2022 and is carried out as a public tender with tender notice no. 00625268-2026 published on 10 Sep 2026.
