Tender for WMS for new Warehouse & Logistics Center for Esbjerg Hospital

The Region Syddanmark in Denmark from Europe region has released this tender for The Region of Southern Denmark is offering a contract for a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for the new Warehouse & Logistics Center Esbjerg Hospital. Esbjerg Hospital's physical facilities for the Depot & Supply Service are 100% utilized and cannot support the desired growth and future-proofing that is required. The Depot & Supply Service is located in the basement of Esbjerg Hospital today, where all goods are delivered on Østergade in the inner city of Esbjerg. Esbjerg Hospital's new Warehouse & Logistics Center will form the framework for an increase in goods in the warehouse to ensure supply to Esbjerg Hospital and partners. The increase in warehouse goods has a positive impact on the green transition in the form of a reduction in transports to the Warehouse & Logistics Center compared to the current load. The heavy and black traffic in Esbjerg inner city will be significantly reduced by establishing Esbjerg Hospital's new Warehouse & Logistics Center. Esbjerg Hospital Warehouse & Logistics Center supplies Esbjerg & Grindsted Hospital, the Veneklinikken in Brørup, the Psychiatry at Gl. Vardevej and all the local Psychiatry departments. Esbjerg Hospital has cooperation with the surrounding municipalities regarding, among other things, IV treatments in the citizens' own homes and the upcoming Health and Care Sites. The cooperation includes an agreement with supplies to local depots in the cooperating municipalities. The tendered task includes delivery, implementation, configuration and adaptation of WMS, including establishment of integrations, training of super users and users, samples and tests as well as commissioning, operation, support and maintenance. At the time of conclusion of the tendered Contract, the warehouse building is under construction. The supplier's services also include project management and coordination with the contractor - KG Hansen, but primarily with the supplier of AutoStore and Conveyor systems - Element Logic. The WMS solution that is delivered, according to the tendered Contract, must meet the requirements for function, quality, capacity, etc., as stated in the tender materials. The region needs up to 2 sites with 3 superusers and 12 users. One site is to be used for Esbjerg Hospital as part of the Delivery, and the other site is to be connected to Grindsted Hospital during the contract period at no additional cost. Grindsted Hospital does not have a corresponding WMS, but only manual warehouses. The task is offered as one comprehensive contract based on functional, market and economic considerations. The contract is unlimited in time.
