Overview:
This procurement is for the provision of services to operate Broadlands Rd RRC (Resource Recovery Centre) and Landfill including green waste processing, Kinloch RTS (Refuse Transfer Station), and Mangakino RTS. The existing contract for the Operation of Broadlands Rd RRC and Landfill, and Kinloch RTS expires June 2023. Mangakino RTS is currently operated by in-house TDC resource and will be included under the new contract. To align with the wider solid waste procurement approach and allow for uncertainty around the landfill consent the following sets out the separable portions and terms for the Contract Works.
• Separable Portion 1 - Broadlands Landfill Operation, Term 4 years (extension subject to consent up to a maximum of 2 years)
• Separable Portion 2 - Broadlands RRC, Kinloch RTS, Mangakino RTS, Term 2 years + 2 years (extension to align to wider solid waste contracts).
