Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. 3. QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE CONSULTANT Minimum of Master's Degree in Agriculture Economics; Sustainable Development; Climate Change or related field, PhD is added advantage; At least 10 years of relevant professional experience on climate change, sustainable development, finance and economics with analytical experience in Africa context being an asset; Be conversant with the Convention on Climate Change and the carbon market mechanisms; and Carried out assignments of similar nature for international organizations and national governments in the areas of climate policy and governance, agri-food systems, rural development etc. 4. THE SHORTLISTING CRITERIA ARE: For evaluation of the expressions of interest, the following criteria will be applied with a pass mark of 70 points: i. Qualifications - Education and Relevant Training (30 points); ii. Experience related to the assignment (60 points); and iii. Knowledge of the region & local conditions (10 points). A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant Selection method set out in the Procurement Regulations Article 4.9.17.1 of the African Union Procurement Manual Version 2.0 – 2016. a.
