The purpose of this RFP document is to provide Bidders with information to assist in the formulation of their proposals. This RFP document does not claim to contain all the information each Bidder may require. OBJECTIVE OF THE RFP 3.1 The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to enter into a contractual agreement with one or more successful bidder(s) and select one or more suitable contractor(s). 3.2 Sci-Bono is requesting a combined, fixed-price proposal for the delivery of Project Management services. Specifically, we require a project manager resource to help with the execution of a mission critical project. This includes all business requirements gathering/scoping, task delivery oversight, meeting coordination, quality testing and status reporting as required. 3.3 This project manager will have accountability for multiple workstreams related to the successful implementation of project. This end-to-end project management approach will require project commissioning, which will include training of Sci-Bono Staff for sustainability. 3.4 Bidders are requested to propose the best and most cost-effective solution to meet SCIBONO requirements, while ensuring a high level of service. After closing date no calls or inquiries will be accepted. CLOSING DATE AND TIME FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS 9.1 Submissions should be hand delivered by on or before 19 June 2023 at 12:00PM, deposited into the tender box marked “RFP: CFO/SCM/SSIP/R23-24/09 - DEVELOPMENT, SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF GRADE 8 & 9 EMS TEXTBOOKS”. NO LATE PROPOSALS / BIDS shall be accepted. Late proposals / bids shall be immediately returned to the bidders. All documents must be to Corner of Miriam Makeba & President Street, Johannesburg, 2107. 9.2 A compulsory briefing will take place on the 13 June 2023 @ 11H30AM, at Sci-bono Discovery Centre 9.3 All correspondences shall be done by e-mail tenders@sci-bono.co.za; no telephonic correspondences shall be done before and after the closing of bid.
