The existing base will be comprehensively renewed, physically strengthened, and expanded with a new construction. Project Overview The project includes all ventilation systems of the main project and is divided into the following areas: • New construction of all ventilation systems for existing and expansion buildings • New Technical Ventilation Center in the attic with centralized installation of ventilation units • Special ventilation for oxygen and operating material storage, compressed air central, and elevator shaft The site is located at Seestrasse in Oberrieden (ZH). Work will be carried out while the facility is in operation and in several stages. Project Goal The goal of the project is a fully renewed and operationally safe Maritime Police base with modern, code-compliant, and energy-efficient ventilation systems. The ventilation systems are designed for reliable use, high availability, robust construction, and easy maintenance, and form an integral part of the overall project. Required Contractors The project seeks qualified contractors for the implementation of the ventilation systems within the main project, including all necessary services within the scope of work. For better orientation, the construction drawings are attached to this tender. They provide interested contractors with an initial overview of the location, scope, and environment of the work. Ventilation Work Within the construction project, all ventilation systems will be completely rebuilt. Existing installations will be dismantled by the contractor on-site. A total of eight ventilation systems will be implemented: for dressing rooms and toilet facilities, storage and auxiliary areas, oxygen and operating material storage, workshop, storage and washing hall, offices, as well as for the compressed air central and elevator shaft. The ventilation units will be centrally installed in the newly built Technical Ventilation Center in the attic. Various intake and exhaust ducts will be double-walled insulated and led to the riser zones via the roof. The operating material storage is designed as an explosive hazard zone; the affected equipment will be explosion-proof. The requirements of Building Class III (BWK III) must be strictly followed. The ventilation field devices will be supplied and installed by the ventilation contractor. Control cabinets and electrical schematics will be designed and supplied by the building automation planner.
