As part of the barberine cascade significant renewal project sbb ag is planning to renew several power plants the ch telard i power plant is located in the village of le ch telard in the municipality of finhaut in the canton of valais and was built between 1919 and 1923 in 1972 the power plant was expanded to include the ch telardii plant the power plant is primarily used to supply traction power 16 7 hz to western switzerland and the simplon line the subject of the tender is the replacement of all existing production units at the ch telard-barberine i power plant with a single 40mva machine group consisting of a horizontal-axis four-nozzle 2 2 twin pelton turbine and a single-phase 16 7hz synchronous generator divided into 2 lots - lot 1 lot 401 generator g3 - lot 2 lot 402 pelton turbine t3 with pelton turbine ball valves and distribution line the provider can submit an offer for an individual lot or an entire offer see excel price sheet for lot division in the event that a provider is awarded both lots only one contract will be concluded the scope of delivery of lot 401 generator g3 is the complete replacement of all synchronous generators currently installed in the ch telard-barberine i power plant with a new single-phase 16 7hz synchronous generator with 40mva including shaft bearings excitation and auxiliary systems the services of the lot essentially include calculations technical drawings fabrication workshop assembly packaging transport storage on the construction site dismantling assembly commissioning personnel training tests in the workshop and on the construction site by the company within the defined interfaces the scope of delivery of lot 402 pelton turbine t3 with pelton turbine ball valves and distribution line includes three systems the pelton turbine t3 including turbine controller the ball valves of the pelton turbine t3 and the distribution line t3 the peltonturbine t3 system is a horizontal twin pelton turbine 2 2 with cantilevered impellers and a speed of 501rpm for the direct drive of a 16 7hz synchronous generator the scope of delivery also includes the turbine controller and the necessary auxiliary systems the distribution line system includes the delivery of a newly created distribution line system for the new machine group mg3 for a volume flow range of around 6m3 s the new distribution line must be connected to the existing pressure line and the motive water must be fed to the two pelton wheels via two branch lines the ball valve system includes two ball valves with a nominal pressure of 9 4mpa each these serve as closing elements and are each placed in a branch line to the two pelton wheels the scope of delivery also includes the necessary auxiliary systems the services of the lot essentially include the design cfd reports including model test report of a similar turbine calculations construction 3d modeling technical drawings fabrication surface protection workshop assembly workshop tests packaging transport on-site storage assembly commissioning checking of guaranteed services support of trial operation and customer training with the provider assuming system responsibility within the defined interfaces
