In this role, the Influence, Advocacy and Campaigns Consultant will provide advice and technical assistance in developing and implementing overarching advocacy and campaign strategies related to the global strategic initiatives for engagement with influencers and key stakeholders, related frameworks, tools, and techniques for advocacy and campaign capacity development for key stakeholders who will consult on the UNAIDS’ relationships with key groups of influencers aligned with the goal of ending AIDS as a public health threat by 2030. Key requirements: Under the guidance and supervision of the Director, Influence and Partnerships, as well as collaboration with other staff in the Influence and Partnership team, the consultant is expected to provide advice and technical support to the deliverables following key tasks: 1. Provide advice and technical inputs to the Director, Influence and Partnership, and the team to accompany the process related to influencing, advocacy, campaigns, and partnership on the following four focus areas: a) Global Alliance to end AIDS in children. b) Education Plus Initiative. c) Save lives: Decriminalise. d) Equal access to cutting-edge HIV technologies 2. Develop a generic campaign strategy template and guide. 3. Contribute to developing an organisation-wide framework for impactful partnerships with influencers and key stakeholders. 4. Contribute to and facilitate strategy development workshops or capacity-building training workshops if needed. 5. Provide data and research support for new initiatives in advocacy and campaigns. Attend meetings, conference calls, and webinars as needed and carry out other related tasks.
