The luks is looking for a reliable and competent service provider for both lots who will meet the requirements in the best possible way and who will set up the respective part of the perimeter security for the luks migrate the functions of the respective existing solution to the respective new solution and finally put the new solution into operation and decommission and recycle or dispose of the existing one in lot 1 the web proxy and the perimeter firewall are to be replaced together by a geo-redundant on-premise perimeter firewall with proxy functions which is able to take over vpn termination at a later date it is particularly important to take into account that the configuration of the web proxy has grown organically over the years and has been tailored to the specifics of the existing web proxy solution the migration of this configuration and its standardization with that of the existing perimeter firewall represents a comprehensive analysis and configuration project for which the providers for lot 1 have to bring extensive knowledge and invest significant resources accordingly lot 1 contains some highly weighted requirements that test the understanding of the situation and the abilities of the providers optionally a new additional inner dmz firewall from the same manufacturer as the perimeter firewall will be offered in lot 1 which can be administered in the same management gui including the development of a simple configuration with a maximum of 50 acls this firewall is used exclusively for layer 3 to 4 access lists and separates the dmz from the internal infrastructure in lot 2 however only the existing waf a big-ip from f5 is to be replaced with the successor product f5 big-ip r5600 best bundle the existing configuration and the existing modules of the existing big-ip that are in use should be transferred 1 1 to the successor product with the aim of replacing the existing big-ip as seamlessly and noiselessly as possible accordingly lot 2 contains only a few requirements in addition to the highly weighted price criterion in addition luks already has a highly qualified provider for the necessary services in the company which is why these are only advertised as an option in lot 2 since the total volume of these operating services is well below the thresholds for public tenders luks reserves the right to exercise the option and commission the successful tenderer with the operating services or not to exercise the option and continue to obtain the operating services by direct award from the existing service provider for the solutions procured in both lots luks aims to manage them independently i e within luks nevertheless the luks requires expert know-how from the successful bidders in both lots so that the luks it can obtain additional expert know-how from the service providers at a later date if necessary the providers also submit roles at predefined tariffs in their offers which they can make available to the luks in addition to this expert know-how the providers for lot 1 of this tender also show the luks which training and if necessary certification options for this solution they can offer the luks so that the luks it can operate the solution largely independently after it has been put into operation this know-how is already available in luks for big-ip in order for luks and its partner companies to be able to operate the solutions offered for at least the next 5 years the providers submit all the additional contracts required for licenses maintenance etc with their offer and include all related expenses in their offer
