The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) on behalf of The United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), wishes to receive Expression of Interest (EOI) for a Request for Quotation (RFQ) that it intends to launch for the provision of a geospatial and satellite support.
A qualified vendor will provide OHCHR with the ability to better detect changes in areas of concern and corroborate reports of large-scale human rights violations. OHCHR will be able to immediately view key locations to understand events, uncover relevant insights, such as destruction of remote villages, which only take place during a finite period and make informed analysis and recommendations to the United Nations (UN) Country Teams.
UNOG seeks an access to a satellite imagery:
1) which covers the entire globe and
2) is updated on daily base.
Vendors shall address point (1) and (2) in their response to the Request for Expression of Interest (REOI).
