Australian and New Zealand portals
Federal tenders in Australia appear on AusTender, with a separate portal in every state and territory, while local councils, universities and government-owned corporations tender as well. In New Zealand, government agencies, councils and school boards use GETS, and the Ministry of Education's School Infrastructure group publishes regularly.
Island states
In Fiji, ministries and statutory bodies such as the Fiji Roads Authority and Airports Fiji Limited publish tenders in English. Papua New Guinea oversees procurement through its National Procurement Commission, and Tonga, Kiribati, Tuvalu and the Marshall Islands issue tenders through ministries and agencies, often for donor-supported projects.
Regional financiers
The Asian Development Bank counts Fiji, Palau, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Kiribati, the Marshall Islands and Micronesia among its Pacific developing member countries. For ADB-financed projects, the borrower runs the tender and ADB publishes the notice on its website. The Pacific Community (SPC) also publishes procurement notices for goods and services.
How Tender Impulse helps
Most notices are in English, and Vanuatu also uses French. Daily alerts by keyword and CPV code pick up notices from many small buyers, bid documents are available on request, and contract award data shows who won earlier work. A free live demo shows Oceania notices.
